Required for September 2019, an enthusiastic teacher to support the Curriculum Team Leader in the management and leadership of the geography department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success with the ability to motivate, inspire and promote geography within the school.
Geography is a very popular subject at both GCSE and A Level with a number of students progressing to study geography at university. Results are outstanding at A level with 100% A-C, 91% A-B and 55% A*-A. At GCSE pupils achieved 77% 9-5.
You will be part of a team of 4 Geography specialists who are forward looking and determined to improve the outcomes even further for our pupils.
In 2018 the school’s overall P8 was 0.39, above average, and A level L3VA was 0.18.
