Mount Kelly seeks an Assistant Director of Sport from April 2019 or September 2019. The successful applicant will have passion for sport and will be fully committed to the development of PE and Games at the Prep, and the delivery of sport across the Foundation. The role also includes duties as a Houseparent and therefore the role will include family accommodation and pastoral duties.
As Assistant Director of Sport the duties will include organisation and teaching of PE and Games at the Prep and assisting the Director of Sport in the overview of the development, promotion and delivery of sport within the Foundation. The successful applicant must be passionate and fully committed to the development of PE providing an outstanding provision of PE and Games to all year groups from Nursery to Year 8.
Candidates will also have responsibility for the Prep boarding house providing a high standard of care and support for all boarding pupils. The duties include the day-to-day running of the boarding house and providing a high quality educational and pastoral experience.
The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the life of our busy boarding school which is located on the outskirts of the attractive market town of Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon.

The College Chamber Choir is the flagship ensemble of the School. The group perform a wide range of challenging music from all periods and in a huge variety of styles, but mostly a cappella. They won the Barnardo's School Choir of the Year Competition in London in 2020, and compete internationally every year.
