Job overview

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic professional to help lead our highly successful Physical Education (PE) department. The successful applicant will be appointed to lead the continual development of the girls PE curricular and extra-curricular programme. In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to oversee the provision of an examinable course that we offer at key stage 4 or 5, and the programme of House sports offered at our school. The successful candidate will be required to teach across key stage 3, 4 and 5.

About Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre

Cheltenham Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre is a mixed, non-denominational academy school for students aged 11 to 18. It is located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and currently has about 1,700 students and 360 sixth form students.

It settled in its current location of Warden Hill in the early part of the 1970s and converted to academy status in 2011.
