Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Head of English.

As the Assistant Head of English, you work closely with the Leader for English and the Senior Management Team in continuing to improve exam attainment at GCSE.

As Assistant Head of English, you will:

• Be an inspiring leader with the energy and creativity to lead and motivate a team.

• Work closely with the Senior Leader of English to continue to improve English outcomes

• Have the leadership ability to build capacity in individuals within your team whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results.

• Be instrumental in driving forward change and improving standards across the department.

• Have responsibility for monitoring the quality of provision and supporting the professional development of colleagues within your team.

• Have a role in analysing and evaluating performance data.
