Job overview

We need a strong and determined person to provide the highest standards of pastoral care and guidance to all students in the key stage at all times.

To encourage students to have high aspirations and high expectations of themselves through excellent pastoral care and guidance.

Grace Academy Darlaston, is a vibrant secondary Academy on the outskirts of Walsall rated by Ofsted as 'Good' in May 2017.  We have approximately 822 students on roll across the Academy and are expanding rapidly.  Following a period of under-achievement, our staff have worked exceedingly hard over the last few  years which led to a substantial improvement in results in 2016 and further improvements in 2017.

The Academy is on an upward journey, if you consider yourself to be someone capable of helping us along that journey you are more than welcome to pay us a visit to see our outstanding facilities first hand.

You will be able to demonstrate unwavering commitment to raising student progress and standards.  Like us, you will believe that social disadvantage is no barrier to achievement and that every student can share in the joy of education.  Most importantly, you will possess integrity, good humour and moral purpose.

Our Academy continues to move forward at pace, our Recent Ofsted report in April 2022 states ‘Excellence is one of the key values of the school. This value is the guiding principle of the curriculum. The school encourages pupils to achieve high academic aims and develop as well-rounded individuals.’ The outcome of the Inspection was that ‘Grace Academy Darlaston continues to be a good school’. All members of our school community – students, parents and staff should be proud of this achievement.

It is a privilege for us to be entrusted with the job of leading Grace Academy Darlaston and continuing this excellent work. It is our intention to see the Academy continue to flourish and to guide all students to achieve their full potential whilst embracing the core values that Tove Learning Trust’s Grace Academies uphold.
