Assistant Head Teacher

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate as Assistant Headteacher at Monkwick Infant school, which is a member of The Sigma Trust. This post is now available as part of a planned structure to extend the capacity of the leadership team. 

As the Assistant Headteacher you will: 

• Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team at the school, regularly reporting to the Local Governing Body.

• Lead on teaching and learning across the school to successfully ensure excellent pupil progress.

• Have responsibility for staff performance management and as a coach and mentor to teaching staff within the school. 

• Have a teaching role in order to model outstanding classroom teaching.
