You will have an up to date knowledge of assessment as well as academic and pastoral issues pertinent to Post-16 education. Ashington Academy is at an exciting stage in its development. The Sixth Form has courses running at Ashington Academy and Bedlington Academy sites and part of your role will be to continue the development of these links.

The school has excellent transport links and is only 18 miles north of Newcastle city centre, easily accessible from the A1 and the A19.
