Bentley Wood High School has consistently been in the top 10% nationally for progress for the last six years and, this was 0.9 in 2017. Most importantly, this means that our students achieve their best and are enabled to progress to higher or further education. We were judged as an outstanding school in 2012 and we strive to continue to provide the best education for our students.
All leaders, including responsibility holders, work together to drive the school forward. We highly value our inclusive leadership approach where middle and senior leaders work together to make a difference.
We are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner who has experience of effectively leading a team and contributing to whole school improvement and is now ready to be an Assistant head teacher.
As the lead school in Harrow Collegiate Teaching School Alliance, we can offer a wide range of the highest quality professional development. You will also be able to become a member of a very successful dynamic team who relish and thrive on challenge. Equally we provide a very supportive environment where staff wellbeing is a priority.
The remit of the posts will overall reflect the strengths of the successful candidates and will include a variety of whole school responsibilities both curriculum and pastorally based. There are three leadership areas which need to be covered by these posts; 2 days a week leading the Teaching School Alliance, safeguarding and using data effectively.
