Secondary Assistant Headteacher
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, well qualified and experienced leaders for the above position.
This person, in the role will play a crucial part in the development of the secondary school. The school’s current development priorities include; writing and implementing a teaching and learning strategy that will include establishing a professional learning community enabling colleagues to collaboratively share and review educational research and embed this in their practise; Improving our assessment procedures and our measurement of student progress, and enhancing an already well established PSHE programme to ensure that students develop a positive approach to their own well being, and become emotionally and physically happy and resilient.
The leadership areas of this post will depend on the applicant's strengths and experience and you will need to demonstrate a passions for whole school improvement and a have a proven track record of taking the initiative to significantly improve the academic, physical, social or emotional development of students in the schools you have worked in.
