Pay Scale: Leadership Scale based upon skills and experience
Governors of The Marvell College seek to appoint a high performing teacher with a strong track record to join our talented pastoral leadership team from September 2019. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Deputy Headteacher (pastoral) and be responsible for the personal development, behaviour and welfare standards in key stage 4 and the impact these have on pupil outcomes.
Pastoral provision at The Marvell College is well resourced, as we believe that this is the foundation on which strong academic outcomes are achieved. In promoting excellent academic outcomes, our pastoral curriculum intends to build a strong sense of identity, belonging, pride and responsibility as pupils’ journey through the school. The successful candidate will make a significant contribution to the relentless analysis and diagnosis of need and the refinement of the curriculum to ensure all pupils achieve well.
Applicants should be able demonstrate the essential personal and professional characteristics that we seek to employ at The Marvell College. Additionally, they should be able to confidently point to a strong track record of impact on pupil outcomes and demonstrate how they support the professional development and improvement in practice of other colleagues.
