Bishopswood is a special school for pupils with severe, profound and complex needs aged 2 – 16 years. The school has an inclusive ethos and is co-located on 3 mainstream sites.
Due to staff restructure in this expanding school, the governors and headteacher of the school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and committed assistant headteacher who is able to demonstrate outstanding teaching ability combined with the necessary leadership, communication and organisational skills, they will have the ability to inspire others. Early Years/KS1/KS2 experience is essential for the post.
The role will include:
Class teacher 0.7 with 0.3 management role.
Responsible for curriculum development across the school.
Member of the senior leadership team and a governor sub-committee.
Taking a lead in an identified area.
To inspire outstanding teaching and learning.
