Job overview

This is an important role within the school, focused on wellbeing of pupils, staff and parents. Principle responsibilities relate to the management of the school’s wellbeing plan, safeguarding of pupils and support for parents.

Chiltern Wood is a rapidly growing and developing special school in the Wycombe area on two sites, in Cressex and Downley. This is a new position created to support the values of the school embodied in its strapline ‘Success through Wellbeing’. If you have a passion for bettering the lives of children with special needs, and have the potential to be an outstanding leader yourself, we are keen to hear from you.

We offer the opportunity to be part of an exciting stage in the school’s development, and contribute purposefully to how special educational needs are met in the Wycombe area. You will be well supported by knowledgeable and competent staff, and be part of an extended leadership team that is committed to self-reflection and improvement. A visit to the school and meeting with the Headteacher is essential.
