We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Headteacher, with a minimum of 3 years successful middle leadership experience, to take responsibility for key areas of the Quality of Education at Moulsham High School.  We are an inclusive, high performing comprehensive school with a relentless commitment to high achievement for all. Progress 8 has been well above national average for the last 7 years. In 2023 it was in the top 16% of all schools nationally. A level results are consistently ALPS 3 or higher. 2023’s A level APS was in the top 18% of all schools nationally. The successful candidate will be expected to work with the Deputy Head Quality of Education to ensure that our exceptionally high standards are not simply maintained but taken to the next level. This role is pivotal to the school’s continued development and includes responsibility for CPD, Subject Reviews, ECTs and ITT as well as leading on some elements of quality assurance.    

This vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current Assistant Headteacher: Quality of Education to Deputy Headship and will provide the successful candidate with a fantastic platform for further promotion.
