The Governors of Manford Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our leadership team to raise standards, monitor the quality of teaching and learning, to lead Inclusion within the role of SENDCO and lead on Extended Schools at our highly inclusive and exciting school.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is an outstanding teacher who can motivate and inspire children.
  • Is committed and inspirational about raising standards and life chances for all children.
  • Has proven leadership and management skills with experience of leading a core subject area.
  • Has the ability to lead with enthusiasm and energy.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support the whole school team.
  • Has the ability to promote outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Has an excellent understanding of the principles of inclusion and meeting the needs of all children.
  • Is committed to involving parents and the community.

The post will be part of the school’s Upper Leadership Team.  Whilst the post will lead on Inclusion, there will be an expectation that the post holder will take a wider view on school leadership and support the strategic direction of the school alongside other leaders, including Curriculum and Assessment.

The post will involve some group teaching and leading a phase group (dependant on school need).

The candidate must have (or be working towards) the National Award for SENDCO.
