Salary: Leadership 12 - 15 (£61,882 to £66,628)

Bury St Edmunds County High School is looking to appoint a dynamic leader to take our Inclusion Team forwards. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring leader with the ambition and vision to grow a strong team. 

We are looking for a leader of the highest calibre who has an excellent understanding of the broad reach of SEND and the ability to develop effective systems that allow a shared assess-do-review approach to supporting our students with additional needs and often our most vulnerable students. 

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, innovative, creative and enthusiastic practitioner with a determination to impact on the lives of the young people that they are responsible for. Already an excellent teacher, they will be ambitious in leadership and ambitious in supporting an inclusive school. The successful candidate will benefit from an excellent CPD offer and will join a highly visible and supportive SLT, a sensible to approach to workload and a calm, respectful working environment. If they do not currently hold the NASENCo qualification, they will be supported to achieve this. 

Unity Schools Partnership operate a two-week October half term break. Other holidays remain in line with national patterns. The school day has been extended slightly to ensure we deliver the same amount of in-school time over the year.
