Salary Grade:  Hay 3 (points 8 – 15)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & hard working ICT Technician to work within our ICT Department providing an efficient, effective and responsive ICT administrative and support service.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a first class ICT Helpdesk service including logging and first line resolution of fault calls from staff and students, escalating to appropriate members of the ICT Team as required, following progress on outstanding calls, and politely assisting staff, students and contractors by providing help and information. 

The successful candidate will have both good communication and practical skills. They will have knowledge of Microsoft and Apple applications and operating systems plus an aptitude to learn new software quickly and maintain and repair ICT furniture.

Other duties will include of all AV systems and administration duties such as auditing and recording hard and software using the asset management system.
