King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy is an oversubscribed 11-18 academy and part of King Edward VI Multi-Academy Trust. Judged to be ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection, it serves a vibrant and diverse community.

We seek to appoint a talented, dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Vice Principal to lead teaching and learning across the Academy. The successful applicant will have experience of leading a team and the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students. 

Within this role you must be ambitious and able to:

  • Develop and promote a whole school culture of best practice in teaching and learning.
  • Embed a comprehensive, differentiated staff CPD programme.
  • Work alongside other academies and colleagues from the MAT to share and develop expertise.
  • Make a positive difference to the lives of young people.
