Associate Director (Head of Engagement)

Brighton College seeks to appoint a Head of Engagement, who will devise and implement the strategic advance of its alumni and parent engagement programme.

This is an exciting position within the Development and Engagement office at England’s leading co-educational independent school. You will be joining the team at a pivotal time, as we draw to a close a successful £8m fundraising campaign, and begin preparing for our 175th Anniversary celebration year.

The role would suit an enthusiastic and creative person who has significant experience in a management/supervisory role within an events and marketing environment, and would like to advance to a more strategic position. Working as part of a dynamic team, the successful applicant will oversee a comprehensive volunteering, communications and international events programme, developing our Old Brightonians network of over 8,000 active past pupils and staff, and a busy events programme for parents at the school.

The College is currently enjoying great success.  Recent awards include: Sunday Times School of the Year, Tatler Headmaster of the Year, and UK Independent School of the Year.

Deadline for applications: 9am Tuesday 23rd April 2019

Anticipated interview date: Tuesday 30th April 2019

Brighton College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the DBS.
