We are building a team of non-teaching support staff at Olive Academies who are confident and enthusiastic about delivering alternative provision in Thurrock. We work with people who are determined to improve the life chances of young people aged 11 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health challenges.
You will be able to offer up skills, which will help with our young people’s personal development, behaviour and wellbeing. Your passion and expertise may be behavior support, literacy intervention, numeracy intervention, crafts, therapeutic intervention, gardening, animal care or something entirely different. Whatever you have to share, we want to hear about.
Associate Tutors work with young people aged 11 to 16 years. Olive Academies places an emphasis on character development, and values developing the whole student to help prepare them for later life and the challenges and opportunities this may hold. Therefore, we are looking for someone who can model and encourage traits such as leadership, communication, determination, ambition, reflection, empathy and conviction.
