Bury C of E High School has recently joined the Bishop Fraser Trust, a C of E Multi Academy Trust established in 2017. This is an exciting time to join us as it provides a great opportunity to work closely with the other schools in the MAT; sharing good practice and building on our ongoing progress. Main Duties:
- To record and report on pupil attendance and punctuality
- Support effective communication between school and families in relation to attendance issues
- Ensure all students’ attendance is monitored on a daily basis and take relevant actions to raise and highlight levels of attendance across the year groups
- To support pupils and families in raising attendance at school and providing timely and effective interventions to Persistence absenteeism and Serious Absenteeism
- Ensure that contact with a wide range of people is friendly, supportive and professional, and that complex queries and potential conflict situations are well-handled
The successful candidate will be someone who:

- Have high standards and take pride in delivering a quality service
- Understand health and safety regulations in relation to ensuring safe working practice in undertaking your role

- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to form positive, professional and empathetic relationships with colleagues and students
The working hours will be:
7.4 hours per day

Bury Church of England High School is a successful and vibrant Church of England Academy, part of the Bishop Fraser Trust. We are an 11-16 school with 810 places and are significantly over subscribed. The school was established in 1748 and we are proud to have served the Bury and wider community for over 250 years. We joined the Bishop Fraser Trust on 1 January 2022.
