Salary Surrey SP6 – £20,834-£24,142 FTE Actual Salary: £12,629-£14,635, 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 8am-3.30pm, 38.4 weeks per year (includes 2 week half term break in October)

As the lead school in ElmWey Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust located in Weybridge, Heathside is a successful, oversubscribed 11-18 secondary school. Students who attend Heathside are well motivated, high achieving and demonstrate exemplary behaviour. An Attendance Officer is required as soon as possible to continue to improve attendance rates, reduce student absence and engage with families to support them to ensure they fulfil legal responsibilities. Excellent organisational, numeracy and Excel skills are required as well as appropriate knowledge of statutory legislation. The ability to work to tight timescales and collaboratively within the School and in partnership with a range of professional services and agencies is required.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, show initiative, be able to make decisions and maintain confidentiality.
