‘We Dream, We Learn, We Grow”

Are you be able to motivate and challenge students? Can you help them improve their self-esteem and engagement in education

Oak Wood is a vibrant and aspirational community where pupils are encouraged to excel in all aspects of school life.

With the recent completion of our new build, which has fantastic facilities for all subjects, it is an exciting time to join Oak Wood. The school is very popular, rapidly expanding and under new leadership. Working closely with our partner school, Swakeleys School for Girls (Ofsted Outstanding), we are entering a new and exciting phase of our development.

This role will provide support for students who are struggling to fully engage in education and the successful candidate will support students on improving their attendance. The ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents is imperative in ensuring that effective pastoral support is provided for all pupils. Previous experience working with young people facing poor attendance will be advantageous for the role.

Oak Wood School is a truly inclusive school that embraces all aspects of comprehensive education.  The curriculum is well balanced and reflects the needs of all our students and the local community in that we cater for the academic and the vocational.
