We are looking to appoint a strong candidate to the post of Behaviour Co-ordinator to work within our newly-created reflective behaviour room, known as ‘The Gateway’.
As Behaviour Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for receiving students who have been unable to meet classroom expectations of work ethic and behaviour. You will be highly skilled in de-escalation techniques, show high levels of empathy and be able to quickly develop positive relationships. The aim will always be to get students back into the classroom as soon as possible with new coping strategies.
You will be expected to work strategically with the Assistant Head Teacher with recording, tracking and analysing patterns of behaviour, producing reports to support the Pastoral Team.

Starting salary: three point salary range starting at Point 17 on the Gildredge House Support Staff Scale 2018-19: £11,921 pa pro rata (£17,687 FTE) rising to Point 19: £12,610 pa pro rata (£18,709 FTE). You would be required to work 41 weeks per year (includes 36.4 weeks of term-time plus 1 week of INSET plus 3.6 weeks’ paid holiday).
