Band 5 (SCP 4-6) 37 hours per week, term time only + 5 days
This is an exciting and challenging role within our Behaviour Support Hub and the successful applicant will have patience, a sense of humour and an ability to relate positively to young people; all of whom will need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. You will join a dedicated team, providing behaviour support and intervention to pupils, challenging and motivating pupils and promoting self-esteem.
You will be expected to supervise the isolation room and manage and respond to on-call situations. You will also have the opportunity to work individually with pupils on issues such as anger management, classroom behaviour and whole school initiatives such as anti-bullying and drugs and alcohol awareness.
We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with outstanding facilities, a state of the art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield and the surrounding district.

About Titus Salt
Titus Salt School is a mixed non-denominational community school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Baildon, West Yorkshire, and was formerly known as Salt Grammar School.
The school was founded in 1896 by the politician and philanthropist Sir Titus Salt, and has about 1,500 pupils. It was originally on a different site, and used to be segregated into male and female divisions. It moved to a new building, constructed under the Building Schools for the Future programme, in 2008.
