Job Description:

As a Bilingual Secondary Counsellor at Newton International School Lagoon, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive counselling services to secondary students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and group counselling sessions to address students' academic, social, emotional, and career needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop personalized support plans for students.
  • Supporting students in developing essential life skills, resilience, and coping strategies.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture that fosters students' well-being and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in counselling secondary students in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
