British Sign Language (BSL) Teacher

You will work closely with experienced staff in the designing, planning and delivering of courses which stretch and challenge our learners, as well as preparing a variety of learning materials, providing guidance to learners on progression options and completing course administration.

Knowledge and experience of teaching BSL and the ability to design courses

● the ability to work well with others

● knowledge of English language

● sensitivity and understanding

● to be flexible and open to change

● the ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things

● to be able to use a computer and the main software packages competently

You will be able to deliver engaging learning sessions for a range of learner groups and ability levels.

You will also advise the school leadership team of ideas for developing and promoting

sessions/courses.
