As we move into an exciting new phase at Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), we are seeking to appoint a Building Operations Assistant (Caretaker).
The new structure consists of a Building Operations Supervisor supported by Building Operations Assistants who will provide site services to our academies in the cluster.
This role will be based at Feversham Primary Academy in Bradfordy and we are within commutable distance of Wakefield, Leeds and Keighley and close to the M1 and M62 motorways. We are popular locally in our BD3 community Ofsted in September 2014 judged us to be ‘good’ in all areas across the school and we are well on our way to becoming an outstanding Academy.
We are fortunate to have a school building that is fit for purpose and we are looking for someone who can use their own initiative and be able to use their DIY skills to good effect. As an enthusiastic, proactive, customer focussed organised individual you will ensure that our academies function safely and effectively on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be highly motivated, organised, full of initiative, and common sense, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure, dealing with multiple tasks to meet time deadlines. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and relate well and build positive relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners – to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. In each of our academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be entitled to the following benefits: a health cash plan, vehicle affinity scheme and childcare vouchers.
This is a very exciting time for Academies Enterprise Trust and we hope you will join us on our journey.
