Building Operations Assistant (MEA)

As we move into an exciting new phase at Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), we are seeking to appoint a Building Operations Assistant to join our Barnsley cluster of schools.

The new structure consists of a Building Operations Supervisor supported by Building Operations Assistants who will provide site services to our academies in the cluster.

This role will be based at Meadstead Primary Academy in Royston. At Meadstead Primary Academy we have a special and unique learning community that is proud to serve the village of Royston, and surrounding areas. Our staff commute not just from Barnsley, but from Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield and beyond.

We work closely with our Primary partners which are Shafton Primary, St Helens Primary and Firth Park Academy which is in Sheffield.

As an enthusiastic, proactive, customer focussed organised individual you will ensure that our academies function safely and effectively on a daily basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, be highly motivated, organised, full of initiative, and common sense, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure, dealing with multiple tasks to meet time deadlines. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and relate well and build positive relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
