About the Role

The position of College Business Manager in a Catholic secondary school is key in providing the necessary leadership and support in promoting an environment where Catholic values and practices can flourish.

Whilst the Business Manager is accountable to the College Principal and reports to the Principal on all matters relating to the Business Manager’s portfolio, a close working relationship with all members of the College Executive, Leadership Team, and with the wider staff-body on both campuses is essential.


Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrate a capacity to support the Vision of the College.
  • Exhibit honesty, transparency, accuracy and capacity in financial management of the College.
  • Communicate both written and verbally in a clear and appropriate manner. High standards of literacy are essential to this role.
  • Demonstrate capacity in the area of Human Resources management including performance reviews and enhancement of the non-teaching staff.
  • Contribute to a collaborative workplace that includes a wider educated system and College community stakeholders.
