Cuckoo Hall Academies Trust (C.H.A.T.) is the Charitable Trust set up to run and manage four Primary and one Secondary Academies serving approximately 3000 children. Based in Enfield we are focused on driving up the quality of education provision and standards. We are now expanding our team and therefore recruiting experienced Business Support Assistants to provide administration support and meet and greet visitors and guests to our sites.

The Business Support Assistant will ensure that parents and visitors to the Academy receive a consistently outstanding customer service as well as undertake a range of day to day administrative functions supporting the Business Support Officer and Business Support Leadership Team. They will handle enquiries, input data, prepare reporting and help run school systems including Parentpay, Groupcall and SIMS.

It will be important to stay ahead of the game, pre-empt needs and make sure the office runs smoothly, efficiently and professionally. You must be passionate and enthusiastic about making a difference and supporting children’s learning. You will need to have strong team spirit and take pride in your work.

You must have experience of working in a busy office and/or front of house and be able to demonstrate strong customer service, administration and communication skills. You know your way around PC packages, are good at organising: capable at meeting tight and conflicting deadlines. You will be competent at using your own initiative and proactive at getting things done. You will also be flexible and happy coping with the ever changing needs of an academy.

This high level support contributes to the life chances of our children so you will need to be passionate about education and delivering a professional service, you will therefore need a good understanding about your role within the Trust.

In return for your proven expertise and commitment we can offer you an opportunity to work for a Trust that has aspirations to grow and deliver outstanding opportunities for our children and their families. We will support you within our team through regular supervision and training opportunities. The Trust has a pension scheme and a cash health plan.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment and follow our safer recruitment practices.
