The role of Campus Minister (CM) at St Teresa’s Catholic College will have a strong focus on youth ministry. This is a Part -Time Leave replacement position for 2019. Commencing January 2019 - Term time only. The role holder will Integrate formation experiences for students into classes, House Groups, Camps and Retreats. Participate in the design development and facilitation of programs that support the Youth Ministry plan at the College. Help to promote and organise facilitated Masses, Youth gatherings and other Parish initiatives in conjunction with Parish Priest and APRE. Enliven and renew existing service and justice activities within the Youth Ministry program. Duties • Promote student prayer life within the College • Organisation and promotion of Mass and Liturgy and celebration days • Help in the organisation of Retreats • Work with REC and Heads of House to integrate formation activities in RE classes Camps and House Groups • Formation activities after school and during lunch times • Social justice awareness and fund raising, MAPS, SVDP, Caritas, Catholic Mission • Working with student Pilgrims going on the two Immersion programs to Sri Lanka. • Taking students to both BCE and Marist formation events in Brisbane. • Meeting regularly with the APRE

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Level 6 School Officer Salary Scale

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
