About the Role

SCC Group has an exciting opportunity for an Educational Careers Advisor. In line with our commitment to supporting young people into meaningful destinations, the successful candidate will design and implement a range of exciting careers events throughout the academic year including the co-ordination of the UCAS application process.  They will deliver impartial careers information, advice and guidance to ensure that all students have access to appropriate support. The successful candidate will recognise and value the importance of the development of the whole person and demonstrate a commitment to supporting a college framework that provides students with the skills, knowledge, experience and motivation that they will need to be successful in their next steps. 

Candidates must be innovative and enthusiastic. Essential to the job role, is the ability to relate to and communicate with all our learners effectively, liaise with external and internal partners and departments, and to be autonomous and self-motivated, taking on responsibility for planning their own work.
