We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students across the academy. The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Careers Guidance and will recognise and value the importance of the development of the whole person and demonstrate a commitment to providing students with the skills, knowledge, experience and motivation that they will need to be successful in their next steps. This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in working with young people in a positive and supportive role.

Candidates must be innovative, enthusiastic and essential to the job role, is the ability to relate to and communicate with all our learners effectively, liaise with external and internal partners and departments, and to be autonomous and self-motivated. Key responsibilities of the role include supporting the provision of a quality careers information, advice and guidance service to students in line with statutory guidance, providing progression interviews to students across the academy, as well as supporting a wider programme of careers events and information sessions.

Experience of working in a school in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
