Careers and Higher Education Advisor

An enthusiastic and experienced Careers and Higher Education Advisor is required to work in an exciting role within a busy School, developing and expanding on the existing careers strategy.  

The role will suit someone with relevant experience and qualifications at higher educational level and professional qualifications in the realm of careers. The role will involve developing and implementing effective strategy and providing comprehensive careers advice to pupils from Year 7 through to Sixth Form. As such the successful applicant with have experience of providing advice and guidance to young people, liaising with parents and outside agencies, excellent communication and organisational skills, a passion for careers with commitment and a strong work ethic.

Newcastle-under-Lyme-School is the region’s leading independent school and attracts pupils aged 3-18, from a large area of North Staffordshire, South Cheshire and North Shropshire. The school sits on an attractive 30 acre site in close proximity to Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre.
