Passionate career guidance coordinator required for an outstanding school based in Bexley, Kent.
Tes is currently seeking an ambitious Career Guidance Coordinator for a well-renowned Federation of school's that comprises of both Secondary and Primary sectors.
The role will include providing 1 to 1 and group guidance to pupils regarding all things careers. You'll also get actively involved in supporting pupils to gain work experience and will manage the careers portal for the school.
As part of the role, you'll also lead the school's UCAS and Higher Education activity including:
- supporting students with UCAS applications via the school's UCAS portal
- supporting teachers in regards to student references and relevant content
- liaising with Universities to organise HE talks and visits to local Universities
The school expects:
- a degree (BSc/BA/MA) in a relevant subject area
- an outstanding understanding of contextual factors influencing career guidance and school leaver outcomes
- an ability to clearly communicate with pupils and internal/external stakeholders
- a high level of professionalism.
