37 hours - Term Time plus 4 weeks
Salary: Support Staff Scale Point 34 - £27,209 per annum pro rata
A Careers Progression Manager is required for the new academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to work with 14-19 year old learners as part of a large and successful department within a well-respected, progressive sixth form college.
The successful candidate will undertake the role of Lead Practitioner within the team, by being a role model with innovative vision, utilising specialist knowledge of practitioner roles to support team members, implement strategies and deliver legislative responsibilities to ensure support for students is timely, appropriate and in line with current models of service delivery.
The Careers Progression Manager will also represent and champion Opportunities and Destinations across the college and with external stakeholders, to enable an environment of forward thinking, innovative, collaborative working to deliver the Opportunities and Destinations vision and wider college development plan.
