Caretaker

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, efficient, and flexible caretaker to maintain the building, grounds, and security at Great Yarmouth Primary Academy. 

The role holder will ensure proper maintenance and repairs are carried out promptly and efficiently, managing the priorities of the role to ensure that the academy’s site is effectively supported. 

The successful candidate should be a team player, with effective leadership and communication skills. They should be willing to make a difference to the school and its facilities, with a high level of professionalism and commitment to our core values of:

The hours for this role will be worked out on a rota basis to ensure there is cover across the site between the hours of unlocking and locking up.

Great Yarmouth Primary Academy was judged by Ofsted as ‘good’ overall and ‘outstanding’ for leadership and management in October 2014.
