We are seeking to appoint a conscientious, energetic and hardworking individual in the interesting and varied role of Caretaker / Groundsperson. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Principal and Chief Operations Officer as part of a wider site team to support with the maintenance and other duties associated with premises and facilities.
Based at Maltby Manor Academy, the role will contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of duties including security and supervision of the site and related equipment, and other caretaking duties including porterage, cleaning and maintenance.
It is essential that the person appointed can be flexible to meet the logistical demands of the role and occasional travel between sites within Maltby Learning Trust may be required. This is a highly valued and responsible position which requires someone who can demonstrate high standards of working, considerable initiative and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team. A hands-on approach and good practical skills are essential.
