About You

We are looking for a full time Caretaker to join our busy and friendly school estates’ team based in Ashford, Surrey. You will be involved in general site maintenance at the school – skilled painter of internal areas, repairs, general operations and upkeep and the ideal experience would include:

  • Experience in a trade (painting/electrician/plumbing/carpentry etc)
  • Previous work experience in a school or college
  • Location close to TW15 3DZ – not too far to commute
  • There will be a need for the post holder to drive the School minibus as part of being a member of the Estates team to cover driver absences. A D1 category on the post holders' licence whilst not essential, would be highly desirable. MIDAS & D1 training can be provided.

You will have the ability to relate well to people, through an even temperament, including pupils, parents and staff. You must use your own initiative and have the ability to respond to emergency work situations at short notice.

Basis: Full-time, permanent role, all year round

Hours of work: 10.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday.
