Full time School Caretaker  H3 £16,781 - £17,772 plus fringe per annum   

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated, individual to take on the role of School Caretaker to assist the Site Manager to provide a clean and safe environment for all users of the school buildings and grounds.  

The school is located near to the centre of Watford in the Cassiobury Park area.  It comprises accommodation for over 1300 students including a Grade II listed building, the Clarendon Muse, a stunning new STEM centre, sports hall and gym and a pavilion and sports facilities located nearby offsite.    

Watford Grammar School for Boys is popular and highly respected.  Its examination results and educational and extra-curricular facilities make it one of the most successful state schools in the country.  The admissions policy prioritises children of staff.

Watford Grammar School for Boys is an academy with over 1400 students, including over 400 in the sixth form. From its origins as a charity school for 60 pupils founded by Dame Elizabeth Fuller in 1704, the boys’ school moved to its present site in 1912 and became an Academy in 2010. Located next to the centre of Watford, near Cassiobury Park, it comprises of a Grade II listed building, The Clarendon Muse, The James Theatre, a dedicated STEM Centre and extensive sports facilities.
