36 hours per week

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced school Caretaking & Premises Manager who will take responsibility for management of the school site and facilities to ensure safety for the staff and Pupils

The ideal candidate will be experienced in DIY, plumbing, carpentry and decorating; and, able to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance and must be able to attend to the site for emergencies out of hours. You may be required to work shift duties on certain days.

You will also work closely with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure that any outstanding H&S issues have been resolved.

Little Heath School is a secondary special school for pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs with 200 pupils on our school roll.

You must be honest, have integrity, have a good work ethic, understand the meaning of confidentiality and actively pursue it, and enjoy working in an environment with children with Special Educational Needs.
