At Bedford Primary we have a high quality, “inhouse”’ catering service which has a customer-focused culture. If you are driven by a hunger to succeed and have what it takes to deliver exceptional food and service, we need you on our team.  We are looking for a highly motivated person to take on this high profile role. You will have strong organisational and people skills, a good sense of humour and a passion to succeed. Our total focus is on delivering fresh, wholesome and exciting food for our pupils.  As a team leader with motivational flair, you will have a ‘Hands On’ approach and excellent organisational skills. A commitment to maintaining high standards of service, food quality and hygiene is essential.   Ideally you should have 5 year’s supervisory experience within a catering environment and hold HND, NEBSS or similar qualification in catering management. A Level 3 Food Safety Certificate is also a requirement.  If you are ambitious, successful and excited by the challenge of joining our creative, forward thinking school we look forward to hearing from you.

Bedford Primary School, based in Bootle, Merseyside, teaches boys and girls between the ages of four and 11. It has approximately 397 students enrolled. This average-sized primary school is about three miles north of Liverpool city centre. 

The community school has the Basic Skills Quality Mark and Espresso Education Ambassador School status. It is also a silver champion of the Pearson Bug Club.

There has been much support for early years so that pupils get a good start to writing. Teachers celebrate the efforts of pupils widely across the school in many colourful displays that often show children’s work in a variety of subjects. Relationships between all members of the school community are strong. Consequently, the school is a calm and orderly place of learning.”
