Catering Assistant
2 Posts, fixed term initially
Band 3, 15 hours per week
£6,139 per annum
We are seeking to appoint catering staff to our academy. You will support the team in ensuring that all aspects of the service are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. Ensuring quality standards and excellent customer care is paramount.
Main Duties would include:
• The serving of food to the pupils
• Setting out of dining room furniture (tables and chairs)
• General cleaning duties (equipment and surfaces) both in the kitchen and dining room.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to ensure standards meet the requirement of all food related legislation and the Health & Safety at Work Act regulations and be willing to train.
The Governing Body are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service and additional recruitment checks.
