Weeks: 39 weeks per year –9:30am – 2:00pm Monday to Friday
Grade: 1 (£17,364 - £17,711) pro rata

The Governors of Hallam Primary School are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our busy school kitchen team as soon as possible. Hallam is a large, inclusive, and welcoming school with 630 pupils from Reception to Y6. The school is located to the west of Sheffield and is set in a large, beautiful and open site with an abundance of green space. The school sits at the heart of an established, close-knit yet growing community and provides education for children aged from 4 to 11. The school is at the heart of its community and is a member of the Tapton School Academy Trust.
You will need to be an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible individual. Duties will include:
• Serving food, washing up kitchen equipment.
• Cleaning of all work and eating areas including setting out and putting away dining furniture.
• Supervision of all areas where children are present
• Assistance with clearing trays, plates from tables, wiping spillages as and when they occur. Clean trays and take used plate to kitchen for washing. Refill water jugs for students during lunch period.
