Catering Supervisor / Dining Hall Organiser
Starting salary £18,065 FTE (£12,433 pro rata)
30 hours per week, term time plus inset, permanent.
We are seeking a professional catering supervisor to join our hard working catering team. The successful applicant must have strong all-round catering experience, ideally in a school or similar setting, and should be able to demonstrate the ability to supervise others.
This busy role requires a well organised individual with good communication and time management skills and would suit someone with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Daily duties include running breakfast club, cooking, baking, moving trollies and lifting tables and chairs to set up the dining areas.
A current CIEH Level 2 Certification in Food Hygiene is required for this role but refresher training can be provided. A recognised Catering or Hospitality qualification would be desirable.
The school is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure & Barring Services (DBS).
