For September 2018 or January 2019
An enthusiastic, dynamic Chaplain is sought to lead the spiritual life of the school community at Culford. The School is set in 480 acres of magnificent landscaped grounds. It boasts state of the art teaching facilities as well as top quality sports, social and recreational amenities.
Ordained ministers of any Christian denomination are welcome to apply, but candidates are expected to support the inclusivity and tolerance of Culford’s Methodist foundation.
Candidates must be imaginative leaders willing to embrace the life of a busy boarding school. An ability to relate to teenagers and their pastoral and spiritual needs is crucial. The Chaplain currently teaches RS to GCSE and A level, and previous teaching experience would be welcome. For the right candidate, however, other subject teaching or a non-teaching position may be available.
Culford is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; applicants will undergo appropriate child protection screening and be subject to checks with previous employers and the Criminal Records Bureau.
