Fixed Term Contract from September 2019 to 31 December 2019

Gordonstoun School requires a Chemistry Technician to provide an efficient support service for the Chemistry department teaching staff. There are three technicians within Science, one for each subject area.

Hours: 0815 – 1630 Mon – Friday and Saturday 0830 to 1230, fixed term and term-time only.  Due to the nature of the work, some evening work and work during the School holiday period may be necessary, by arrangement with the Head of Chemistry.

The School
Gordonstoun is known for the wide range of activities that it provides for girls and boys throughout the School's 6-18 age range. Location
Gordonstoun stands in 200 acres of woodland, within walking distance of sandstone cliffs and sandy beaches on the beautiful coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland. Six miles away is the historic city of Elgin. Lossiemouth nearby is well known for its picturesque harbour, fine golf courses and Royal Air Force Station. The City of Aberdeen is about 90 minutes drive away, while an hour's drive takes you to the ski resort of Aviemore at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains. Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is forty miles away and is itself only about an hour away from London (Gatwick) by air.
