An academically selective independent boys’ school with a tradition of inspired teaching, genuine scholarship and co-curricular breadth, Dulwich College is situated in a 70 acre campus in South East London. 

Dulwich enjoys a strong and successful tradition of debating. There is excellent appetite for debating in the College at all levels in the school. Dulwich pupils regularly enjoy strong success at major competitions and we often have pupils selected for the England World Schools Debating Team.

We wish to appoint a Chief Debating Coach to help maintain the excellent coaching provision for growing numbers of pupils. There is also scope for a second appointment at the level of coach.

Dulwich College is an academically selective independent boys’ school in south east London with a tradition of inspired teaching, genuine scholarship and co- curricular breadth. We are a school committed to providing a wealth of opportunities to pupils and colleagues within a nurturing, equitable and caring ethos.

There are approximately 1,630 boys on the school roll, of whom some 130 are boarders. There is a strong history of diversity at the College, reflecting that of south east London generally, but also that we are committed to an expanding programme of means-tested access. Currently about 30% of pupils have such an award but we hope to increase this to 50% in the coming years.

Situated in 70 acres, yet only 12 minutes by train from central London, the College enjoys outstanding academic, co-curricular and sporting facilities, including The Laboratory, a RIBA National Award-winning Science and Arts building. There has also been an extensive refurbishment of its iconic Grade II* listed Barry Buildings and surrounding landscaping.
