Chief Executive Officer/Executive Headteacher

Insignis Academy Trust (IAT) is seeking an inspirational leader to further grow the Trust.

We are looking for an articulate CEO/Executive Headteacher who is deeply committed to our culture of aspiration and high academic ambition for all our students, alongside their personal development and wellbeing.

IAT educates over 2200 students across two co-educational secondary schools. Princes Risborough School (PRS) is a non-selective upper school in Princes Risborough and Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School (SHFGS) is a selective grammar school based in Aylesbury.

PRS joined IAT in 2018 and is on an improvement journey. SHFGS was rated outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in 2016. 

The CEO/Executive Headteacher will provide overall leadership to the Trust, furthering and developing its strategic objectives including growth. They will empower the individual school heads to provide the best education within their respective contexts and deliver on the Trust’s principle aim to transform the lives of young people through quality education.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding strategic education leader, with a track record of delivering improved outcomes. They will articulate a vision for the future accounting for the range of audiences critical to the Trust, capitalising on opportunities presented by a Trust environment and delivering on the sharing of best practice.

Candidates will bring impressive academic and professional credentials and ideally have experience of collaborative working.
