This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a growing Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust currently comprising of 22 academy schools.

The Chief Executive Officer has the management and professional responsibility for the effective development and performance of all academy schools within Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET). The successful candidate will be inspirational, with an outstanding record of leadership, and the ability to deliver, develop and articulate the Christian vision, values and ethos of PDET.

Reporting to the PDET Board of Directors the Chief Executive Officer will lead the Christian educational vision for PDET, ensuring the highest standards of educational achievement and accelerated improvement in PDET academy schools.

We are looking for someone who:

· is an inspirational leader, committed to the highest achievement for all

· will actively promote the distinctive Christian character of PDET church schools

· will provide strategic leadership and direction for the continuing success of PDET

· has good inter-personal skills and an approachable style of leadership
